Martin Rominger wins at the International Riva dei Tessali on the Alps Tour

We are very pleased to announce Martin’s first win as a professional at the International Riva dei Tessali in Italy with rounds of 68-69-71 and 66. The event on 27 April 2008 capped the high point in Martin’s career as a touring pro.

“I am very happy about my success this week. In fact I have felt very confident for a long time but unfortunately my good form didn’t really show in my results until today. This week however everything fell in place. I played and putted well and could so secure my maiden victory.” so Martin back in the clubhouse.

With a score of 68 and 69 on the first and second day the young Swiss laid the foundation for a great week. Even though Martin dropped back a little on his third day with a par round, he remained positive and took the lead over Frenchman Julien Grillon in Italy after shooting a fantastic series of three birdies and an eagle through the last 4 holes on his front nine and two more birdies coming in for a total of 274 (-11).
